WEBMar 7, 2019 — The trial isnt free. It is just priced at the same value as the yearly commitment. The activation time does not "eat into your trial". The trial isn't actually free, it's just at a cheaper price than the monthly no comittment plan. And make sure if you plan to cancel you DO NOT select the twelve month plan.

WEBJan 2, 2020 — Think for now all is alright except they think minimum of 16GB of ram will be required. There isn’t a trial, but you can cancel within a 10-day period. From their own support article: „You may cancel your Shadow subscription if you are still within your 10-day introductory period or Month-to-Month subscription plan.

WEBApr 7, 2022 — Nope. You can get a refund but I believe they are implementing a $30 activation fee so you may be out $30 regardless. Interesting to know. Its not worth at the time.
