FILP'FLOPS & FLAMINGOS Enjoy some time away. Sunset Beach is a small oceanside village a stone's throw away from one of the Carolina's loveliest and most preserved beaches. Maybe it will rain one night when you visit the cottage and you can listen to the sounds of the rain on the metal roof. Located in Shoreline Woods one mile from the beach, we offer a comfortable, smoke free three-bedroom, two-bath home, surrounded by trees in a quiet waterway community. The cottage is on the mainland, only one-half mile from the HIGH RISE bridge to the island. This is the only connection to the barrier island beach and bird island preserve. To gain access to the beach, there is a free oceanfront public parking area next to the pier and a large pay to park lot at the pier. We provide a free parking pass to park at the pier. More than two-dozen golf courses are within a 30-minute drive of the cottage. Our Coastal Cottage is a family-owned second home that we hope our guests will enjoy.
