A Sumatran tiger cub named Bakso made his official debut at Disney's Animal Kingdom on Wednesday, Jan. 29, months after his September 2024 birth at the Florida theme park.

He’s here! He’s here! Cast members at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom were so excited to meet their newest resident — Basko. The tiger cub received a warm welcome when joining the rest of the crew at the Maharajah Jungle Trek exhibit recently.

Bakso, a Sumatran tiger cub born in September at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, has officially made his debut and can be seen with his mother, Sohni, on the Maharajah Jungle Trek. Bakso made his grand debut on Wednesday as his animal keepers proudly watched, according to a news release from Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment (ASE).
