There is a curfew for all three cities on Anna Maria Island effective immediately. The curfew is from Dusk to Dawn. No one can walk or drive around the island between these hours. There will be no power or water for several days.
Water shut-off for Manatee, Sarasota islands including Anna Maria, Siesta Key
MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Manatee County and Sarasota County are shutting off water due to Hurricane Helene. Manatee County Utilities announced they will shut off water to the island cities by 6 a.m. on Thursday. Anticipated winds and storm surge could threaten the the integrity of the infrastructure.

The service shutoff impacts Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach and the Town of Longboat Key. The barrier islands are under an evacuation order ahead of the hurricane, which is forecast to bring 5 to 8 feet of storm surge to the area.

According to Holmes Beach Police, no one will be allowed on the island until the first in teams can clear the roads and determine that it is safe.
