Lyndon Byers, who played nine NHL seasons with the Boston Bruins and helped them reach the Stanley Cup Final in 1988 and 1990, has died at the age of 61.

Former NHL tough guy Lyndon Byers, who had more than 1,000 penalty minutes in his career, has died at 61, the Boston Bruins announced.

Former Boston Bruin and radio host Lyndon "LB" Byers has died, the team confirmed on Saturday. He was 61 years old.
