Chelsea duo Ben Chilwell and Cesare Casadei have been removed from Chelsea's squad during the January transfer window, Enzo Maresca has confirmed.

Those three are Cesare Casadei, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Ben Chilwell. And if you don’t believe in coincidences, the unspecified injury to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall may be a slightly more veiled way of adding his name to that list as well.

Cesare Casadei is attracting interest this month and Chelsea have received an offer from Serie A side Torino, according to reports.

“Cesare won’t be in the squad and it is more or less the same situation as Ben. For him the idea is not to allow him to play some minutes in case there is any opportunity to go and play (elsewhere) which in this moment is the best thing for him.
