Yahoo UK understands ITV are standing by the TV chef after the BBC sacked him from MasterChef over the racist language allegation.
The BBC has announced John Torode will no longer host MasterChef, but it has been reported that ITV will continue to air the celebrity chef’s cooking show with his wife Lisa Faulkner.
John Torode was left “heartbroken” after discovering he had been sacked from MasterChef online. Shortly after news broke of the celebrity chef being dropped from the cookery show, he released a statement revealing he had not “heard from anyone at the BBC ” or the production company behind the series.
