Katheryn Eads was among the victims of the tragic flooding. She was a psychology senior lecturer at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Professor Eads joined UTSA in 2022 and became a full-time faculty member in the Department of Psychology in the College for Health, Community and Policy this year, according to UTSA.

At least six people have been confirmed dead in the catastrophic flash flooding in the Kerrville area just northwest of San Antonio.
