The head of the Louvre in Paris has warned the government about leaks, overcrowding and sub-standard catering in a confidential note that has raised alarm about the state of the world's most-visited museum.

With the men’s collections in full swing and Couture right around the corner, the Louvre Museum today will unveil “Louvre Couture,” the first major exhibition to place masterworks of modern fashion—and their inspiration—within the broader context of French history and decorative arts.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: The Louvre’s first fashion exhibition, opening to the public on Jan. 24, will be feted in a lavish way on March 4 during Paris Fashion Week, which runs from March 3 to 11 in the French capital.
