World number one Nelly Korda has clinched her first LPGA Player of the Year honors, the LPGA confirmed on Monday after it became mathematically impossible for anyone to catch her for the points-based award.

Nelly Korda is back on the practice range. The world No. 1 noted on X/Twitter earlier this week that she’d been cleared by her doctor to get back to work. Korda skipped the LPGA’s fall Asian swing after revealing that she’d suffered a minor neck injury.

Despite not playing in any of the LPGA's fall Southeast Asia swing due to a neck injury, World No. 1 Nelly Korda still secured the LPGA's points-based Player of the Year award Sunday with three tournaments remaining on the schedule. It’s the first time she’s won the award, this one for her impressive, yet sometimes turbulent, six-win campaign.
