Redshirt freshman Josh Barr (197) produced the signature win, scoring seven (!) takedowns in the third period for a 22-6 win. Barr scored six more takedowns in the third than Rutgers (one) did the entire match.

Penn State’s performance at Rutgers on Friday night was another impressively steady show. It was one that resulted in a nine-bout winning streak from 133 through heavyweight and included four technical falls on the way to a 35-3 victory in front of a sold-out (8,057) Jersey Mike’s Arena crowd in Piscataway, New Jersey.
