Eagles sign another former 49ers 3rd-round pick to futures deal
The Eagles on Tuesday signed former 49ers third-round tight end Cameron Latu to a reserve/futures contract. Latu, 24, was pick No. 101 in the 2023 draft out of Alabama. Latu will likely have a chance to join the Eagles for spring workouts and training camp.
49ers' ex-third round pick lands with NFC rival on future contract
Latu was drafted by the 49ers with the 101st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Alabama, but he was unable to find a consistent role on the team. George Kittle is obviously one of the best tight ends in football and Latu could never carve out a role on the active roster at the position. Now, he will get a chance to do so in Philadelphia.

By signing to a reserve/future contract, Latu is not eligible to play for the Eagles in this current season. The team is signing him to have on their 2025 offseason
