The new, expanded College Football Playoff has taken most of the headlines in the sport during bowl season this year, but an interesting trend has developed across the entire FBS. The ACC has been one of the worst conferences in the country this postseason,

1. American 6-1: The AAC’s only loss was Tulane’s 33-8 defeat to Florida. The only AAC team left is North Texas, which plays Texas State in the First Responder Bowl.

Both of the conference's CFP teams were eliminated in their first matchups, and the rest of the ACC limped through their bowl games.
