Coldplay now holds the record for the largest-ever stadium shows of the 21st century following a two-night stint at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in India, according to Live Nation. The shows also marked the first time Coldplay has played in the country.

Coldplay's historic concert in Ahmedabad on Republic Day, drawing 1.34 lakh fans, has officially set the record for India's largest ticketed concert, surpassing previous shows by Diljit Dosanjh and Justin Bieber.

Coldplay has broken the record for playing the largest stadium show of the 21st century. The band performed for more than 111,000 fans per night at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India. The two-night stint marked the first time Coldplay has played in the country.
