The body of a 71-year-old man was recovered Tuesday from the Colorado River after he disappeared while on a private boat trip in Grand Canyon National Park.

At approximately 9:15 p.m. on Monday, the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center received a report of a missing boater in the area of Lower Nankoweap Camp along the Colorado River.
