Nikita Hand gave evidence on day one of the civil action against the MMA star in the High Court in Dublin today

The civil lawsuit was filed in 2021 by Hand, who alleges that McGregor and James Lawrence raped her in a hotel room in December 2018. Both McGregor and Lawrence, who are not facing criminal charges, have denied the accusations.

Nikita Hand is claiming civil damages against McGregor and another man, alleging she was sexually assaulted. Mr McGregor's lawyers told the court Ms Hand, who has no automatic right to anonymity, is attempting extortion.
