Jean Allen, 84, of West Hartford died peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, (June 27, 2002) at UCONN Medical Center in Farmington. She was the widow of Roy Allen.

Dorothy Jean Allen, 74, ... Dorothy is survived by her sons Joseph Steele of Oakham MA, Tyler Steele of Los Angeles CA. Grandchildren Cassi, Matthew, Justin Steele.

Jean Allen was born in a suburb of Boston MA on December 2, 1925 to Julia Wright Allen and Howard Locke Allen. She was the eldest of three children, with a sister, Julia and a brother, Ronald.
