Some of President Trump’s national-security officials Tuesday came under heavy political fire at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing where lawmakers grilled them over the now-infamous Houthi text leak.

Tuesday's hearing will take place one day after news broke that several top national security officials in the Trump administration, including Ratcliffe and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, texted war plans for upcoming military strikes in Yemen to a group chat in a secure messaging app that included the editor-in-chief for The Atlantic.

The reported group chat came hours before the annual 'Worldwide Threats' meeting where heads of intel agencies will testify about the threats the U.S. is facing.
