As of now, Nintendo has not shared any official information about the new Switch, so the following information should be taken with a grain of salt. Nintendo Switch 2 is not the official name for the upcoming console, but for the sake of simplicity, that’s the naming convention we’re going with.

Since we know that the “Switch 2” will be announced soon, Nintendo has improved the offer over last year’s bundle by including the Switch OLED as an option and packing in 12 months of free online service instead of three.

If you can afford the small price premium of the Switch OLED over the non-OLED model, then I think it's worth the upgrade. The Nintendo Switch OLED features an OLED display that offers better image quality than the original LCD display.
