The crew declared an emergency situation at around 9.45pm and the pilot was forced to return to Paris for an emergency landing, with the plane quickly descending to a safe altitude of 8,000 feet.
The individual fell ill shortly after the flight departed from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport on Tuesday, and a doctor onboard was unable to rescue them.
Calling it “an unattended death” aboard the flight, Massachusetts State Police said someone called the Crime Scene Services Section about the death.
