The man who shot and killed ten people in a Boulder grocery store in 2021 was given the maximum sentence hours after his conviction.

Ahmad Alissa was convicted on charges that included 10 counts of first-degree murder and 38 counts of attempted murder.

Those convictions include the first-degree murder of ten people, including a Boulder police officer who stormed the store when called to the scene.
