Doechii stole the show at the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening with a dual performance of “Catfish” and “Denial is a River,” capping off an evening that already saw the rapper win the award for best rap album of the year for “Alligator Bites Never Heal.

Doechii was one of the most lauded artists in 2024, earning her way to multiple nominations at the 2025 Grammys. She blazed the stage with two records, as part of the larger Best New Artist medley performance.

Doechii took the stage tonight to perform “Catfish” and “Denial Is a River” at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The Top Dawg Entertainment rapper brought the singles from her mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal to life with over a dozen backup dancers,

The performance revolved around a “clone factory,” with the Florida native’s trademark airboat making an appearance, and incorporated her recognizable elaborate choreography. It was part of a whole medley performance of the Best New Artist nominees, following Benson Boone and preceding Teddy Swims.
