In pushing for a U.S. takeover of Gaza, Trump said he wanted to move Palestinians to “a permanent place” and that those displaced would not be allowed to return.

The president turned up the pressure on the two nations to agree to his plan for them to house the Palestinian population of Gaza and said the Palestinians would not have the right to return to the territory.

Like most of President Donald Trump’s meetings these days, Tuesday’s talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II will revolve around making a deal — at least in the president’s mind.
