There is a 10% to 20% chance of flash flooding and landslides in some recently burned areas of Los Angeles County, forecasters say, including for the Palisades and Eaton fires.
Weekend rain expected in California, prompting landslide concerns in fire-scarred areas
Rain is in the forecast for Southern California over the weekend and while that may bring relief for the fires still burning there, the moisture could also trigger landslides. CBS News correspondent Andres Gutierrez has more.

California has had another devastating week of wildfire activity. Rain coming this weekend could ease the drought and help with containment around Los Angeles and San Diego, but it could also cause flooding concerns.

Update: Hughes Fire 87% contained, 10,425 acres affected in Los Angeles County
Hughes Fire initially started 10:53 a.m. Jan. 22 in Los Angeles County. It has burned 10,425 acres after being active for three days. By Saturday morning, the fire crew succeeded in containing 87% of the wildfire. The cause is, however, still being investigated.
