A Lufthansa flight with 205 people on board went without a pilot for 10 minutes last year after the copilot fainted while he was alone in the cockpit, according to a new report from Spain’s accident investigation authority.

A Lufthansa plane carrying 205 people had no pilot for 10 minutes after the co-pilot fainted, a report has revealed. The captain had left to use the toilet and the co-pilot was alone in the cockpit, when the incident happened last year.

The Lufthansa pilot was briefly locked out of the cockpit when when his co-pilot had a seizure while he was in the bathroom. The plane was diverted and landed safely.
