Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic loves playing alongside LeBron James, his agent confirmed amid recent speculation.

The Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers shocked the world back in February with their blockbuster that sent Mavericks star guard Luka Doncic to the Lakers and sent Anthony Davis to Dallas. However, within the Lakers transitioning from one star on their team to another, the other star isn't too happy with how the process is going.

On Wednesday the NBA announced the group drawings for the 2025 in-season tournament known as the NBA Cup. The NBA teams are split into six groups of five teams, the Mavericks landing in the West B group along with the LA Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans and, of course, Luka Doncic and the LA Lakers.

Irving had to deal with the after-effects of the Luka Doncic trade, doing his part to keep the Mavericks on the right path before going down with a season-ending ACL injury in March. A year after leading Dallas to the finals, Irving was forced to watch from the sidelines as his team was eliminated in the NBA play-in.
