In October the Pohlad’s announced they’d explore a sale of the franchise they have owned since 1984. Since then, it appears they’ve found a “robust market” for the sale of the team that could lead to new ownership by Opening Day according to reports.

Twins ownership believes the club could be sold by Opening Day, an industry source briefed on the Twins’ sale process told The Athletic.

In October, Twins owner Joe Pohlad announced that his family was exploring a sale of the franchise. The Pohlad family has owned the Twins for 40 years, so the sale process set the stage for a monumental change for the organization. That could seemingly move quickly.
