Sony is set to release limited-edition PlayStation 5 bundles alongside the upcoming game Ghost of Yōtei on October 2. One bundle pays tribute to kintsugi with a gold Mt. Yōtei design, while the other embraces Sumi-e with a black ink painting style.

At yesterday’s Ghost of Yotei State of Play, Sony announced that game themed-limited edition Gold face plates (pictured above) will be released for the PS5 Pro along with PS5 Slim.
According to the leaker, we “should see” the new Marvel game from Insomniac Games at either the rumored September PlayStation State of Play or the reveal may be held for The Game Awards 2025 in December. The report then backs up a recent rumor that the PS5 game is going to release sometime in 2026.
The Gold and Black Ghost of Yotei limited edition PS5 console bundles will be available to purchse on 2nd October.
