The Chicago Bears interviewed Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their head coach opening on Saturday.
For some of those teams, that will involve finding new head coaches and/or General Managers. Three teams fired their head coaches during the season and two more have been dispatched as of 9 a.m. ET on January 6.
The key for the next Bears coach is to develop Caleb Williams, and some already have a relationship with the QB.
Brian Flores didn’t have a great ending to his tenure with the Miami Dolphins but he’s a well respected head coach who worked under Bill Belichick, Mike Tomlin, and Kevin O’Connell. He’s currently the defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings where he established himself as one of the top candidates in this cycle.
