The Los Angeles Lakers’ home game against the Hornets on Thursday has been postponed due to the raging LA fires, the NBA announced.

The Lakers are scheduled to face the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. PT on Thursday in Los Angeles, so it will be worth monitoring to see what happens. The Lakers are also set to host the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday and Monday, so there could be some rescheduling depending on how things develop.
Thousands of people have already had to evacuate their homes in Los Angeles, as many lost their residences due to wildfires in the past days.
It is the second straight day a game slated to be played in downtown Los Angeles has been postponed. The NHL’s Los Angeles Kings were scheduled to host Calgary on Wednesday night.
