Aryna Sabalenka’s bid for a third consecutive Australian Open championship will continue after she got past Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in a surprisingly difficult quarterfinal.

She is now 19-0 at the slam, dating back to her dominant performance in 2023 when she dropped only one set en route to her first major.

Aryna Sabalenka funnily stated that tough conditions are becoming more difficult to deal with as she is getting older but also noted that she is happy with how her Australian Open campaign has gone so far. On Sunday, the defending champion was in action on Rod Laver Arena during the day session.
