The Broncos have fired special teams coordinator Ben Kotwica, sources confirmed to ESPN, after two costly gaffes by his unit during the regular season.

Kotwica was hired in 2023 and has been credited with transforming the special teams unit to one of the best in the league.

The Broncos have made a change to head coach Sean Payton's staff. NFL Media reports that they have fired special teams coach Ben Kotwica days after their season ended with a loss to the Bills. Kotwica spent the last two seasons with the Broncos.
