The new governor of North Carolina will hold a news briefing Tuesday afternoon regarding the latest round of winter weather. Gov. Josh Stein and other state officials will speak at 3 p.m. from the National Guard Armory in Greensboro.

Here comes the snow, but not for all of North Carolina. Parts of the state will get a quick moving winter storm on Tuesday evening through early Wednesday morning bringing a blanket of white. It's a good idea to be cautious and alert even so.
