The Vancouver Canucks are currently missing their top two defencemen, Quinn Hughes and Filip Hronek. Since the beginning of the season, the Canucks defensive depth has been a concern with a lack of true top four defencemen and puck movers on the backend.

Elias Pettersson’s tumultuous season with the Vancouver Canucks took another turn as the team placed the star forward on injured reserve retroactive to Dec. 23.

Miller has a brash personality. He speaks his mind and doesn’t shy away from an altercation. Pettersson has the opposite personality.
