James Gunn is teasing that the center of the DCU saga may not be Superman, his dog, or any other character fans think.

The new DC Universe has officially launched with ‘Superman‘ already in theaters, and now fans are eager to learn what’s next for the other two legs of the trinity, Batman and Wonder Woman. Thanks to recent updates from DC Studios co-head James Gunn and Warner Bros.

Gunn shared the first poster for Supergirl on Twitter, writing, "Look Out. 2026." The artwork shows Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El standing in front of a Superman mural, whilst sipping on a beverage of sorts. But it looks like the party girl has defaced her cousin’s 'Look Up' logo by spray painting 'out' over 'up.' Check out the post below.

James Gunn ’s latest comments about the DCU suggests his long-term plan is more mysterious than anyone realizes. In a recent interview with ScreenRant , Gunn revealed that the current DCU has a central narrative thread,

Whatever they do have planned for my characters is irrelevant until the draft comes in and it’s shootable.” Gathegi doesn’t “count [his] chickens before they hatch,” but he did tease something in the works for Mister Terrific.
