Jordan’s King Abdullah II said he reiterated Tuesday during a meeting with President Donald Trump his country and the region's "steadfast opposition" to the president's plan to resettle millions of Palestinians out of Gaza.

King Abdullah II, a close U.S. ally dependent on aid from Washington, is confronting the president’s demands that he take in Palestinians from Gaza, a step the king’s domestic politics will not allow.
