Malik Dia kept the hot hand for Ole Miss as the sophomore forward finished with 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting. He added a team high eight boards in the win. Jaylen Murray led all passers with six assists marking his eighth game this season with five or more helpers.

On Saturday, the Ole Miss Rebels moved to 3-0 in SEC play for the first time since 2019. Junior forward Malik Dia spoke to the media after his team's win over LSU about his performance during his last two SEC games.

Malik Dia scored 19 points, Jaemyn Brakefield added 16 and No. 23 Mississippi beat LSU 77-65 on Saturday night. The Rebels (14-2, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) have won their first three league games for the first time in six years.
