Plymouth Township police have identified a man whose skeletal remains were discovered rolled in carpet in a field in 1997.
A man surveying a Michigan property in 1997 discovered the human remains, clothes and jewelry, according to officials.
The effort cost the township approximately $6,000, Knittel said. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Plymouth Township Police at (734) 354-3250.
Police began investigating the death, and determined the remains were an adult male that likely died by homicide.
