By Muhammad Al Gebaly and Kanishka Singh (Reuters) -Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty told U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Monday that Arab states rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's widely condemned plan to displace Palestinians in Gaza and take control of the enclave.

In the Arab world many have rejected Trump’s idea. His plan to relocate Palestinians is being criticized as forced displacement, and international groups like the United Nations have warned that such actions would be against international law.
