Shahid Kapoor expressed his disbelief over the attack on Saif Ali Khan, calling it "shocking" during the trailer launch of his film Deva.

Shahid Kapoor, who attended a press event for the trailer launch of his upcoming film Deva, was asked to share his thoughts on Saif Ali Khan being stabbed at his home. Responding to the question, Shahid Kapoor said,

Saif Ali Khan was reportedly attacked with a 2.5-inch knife by an assailant at his Bandra house. He was stabbed multiple times during his attempt to fight off a burglar. According to the reports, the doctors have removed the 2.5 inches of knife from his wound. Saif Ali Khan underwent surgery and has now been shifted to the ICU.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder inside his house and was stabbed six times while trying to get his family to safety. Post this, the injured actor with a knife lodged in his spine was admitted to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent two surgeries.
