The Detroit Lions have signed former San Francisco 49ers wideout Ronnie Bell to a futures contract. After being drafted in the seventh-round of the 2023 NFL draft, the former Michigan Wolverines wideout has secured eight receptions for 90 yards and three touchdowns playing for the NFC West squad.

The Lions have added another name to the growing list of players signed to reserve/future contracts now that the season has ended. Former San Francisco 49ers wideout Ronnie Bell agreed to sign with the Lions.

The Detroit Lions continue to reshape their roster during the offseason, adding a former standout with a history of making big plays in Michigan. On Tuesday evening, the team announced via social media the signing of former Michigan wide receiver Ronnie Bell to a reserve/future contract.

A former Wolverine is headed back to the state of Michigan, as Ronnie Bell has reportedly signed with the Detroit Lions. Bell was selected by the San Francisco 49ers (7th round, No. 253 overall) in the 2023 NFL Draft and spent the last two seasons out west.
