FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — The man killed in a plane crash in Flagler County over the weekend was identified as a 75-year-old man from Jacksonville, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Monday afternoon. The man, identified as 75-year-old Thomas Russell Harvey, was killed when the plane he was flying crashed in Flagler County.

The Federal Aviation Authority and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, which took place in a wooded area in Bunnell.

The name of the pilot involved in the mysterious plane crash in Flagler County has been revealed. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office found the missing plane that crashed in a wooded area of Flagler County near the Volusia County line early Saturday morning.

Stephen Monroe, 26, was found guilty by a Flagler County jury of first-degree murder in a 2022 drive-by shooting which took the life of a 16-year-old boy.

The pilot of the plane that crashed in Flagler County has been identified, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. The wreckage from the crash has been recovered and taken to a facility in Jackonsville,
