On 21st January, Netflix announced a new Harlan Coben series was officially in the works. They shared the update on their Instagram profile, with a picture of Harlan and series lead James Nesbitt holding the book the series is based on, Run Away.

James Nesbitt will begin filming later this month for the new Netflix adaption of Harlan Coben’s 2019 thriller Run Away. The eight-part series follows Co Derry actor Nesbitt, who starred in the Coben Netflix hit Missing You, playing Simon Greene, a father whose daughter Paige (Ellie de Lange) runs away from home.

One of the most beloved stars from Gavin and Stacey, Ruth Jones, has secured a role in Harlan Coben's upcoming thriller set to premiere on Netflix. Jones, who co-created the BBC show and portrayed the unforgettable character Nessa, will feature in Coben's new series, Run Away.

James Nesbitt and Ruth Jones have been cast in Run Away, the new Netflix collaboration with author Harlan Coben. While Ruth's character details are out, it has not yet been revealed who Tracy-Ann will portray in the eight-part thriller - which is also yet to have a confirmed starting date. The show already boasts an impressive roster of talent including James Nesbitt, Minnie Driver, Jon Pointing, Alfred Enoch, Lucian Msamati, and Annette Badland.

Alfred Enoch is well known for his role as Wes Gibbins in How to Get Away with Murder, as well as for portraying Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter film series. In addition to his screen work, he has appeared in British TV dramas like Sherlock and built a strong reputation in theatre with various Shakespearean roles. Enoch will play Isaac Fagbenle.
