The Buffalo Bills are hopeful their magical season continues beyond Sunday night with a trip to New Orleans. But no matter what happens in the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs, the Bills know they won't be searching for a new offensive coordinator this offseason.

Would this Bills miss him? Well, Thursday Brady was named a finalist for the Associated Press NFL Assistant Coach of the Year award. The other candidates are Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, Vikings DC Brian Flores, Lions DC Aaron Glenn and Lions OC Ben Johnson.

Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady has removed himself from consideration for the Saints' head coaching vacancy and will remain in his position with Buffalo next season, sources confirmed to ESPN.

An obvious observation is that Brady enjoys his role in Buffalo. The Bills have created a powerhouse duo with Brady and quarterback Josh Allen, and the team will play this weekend for a chance to earn the first Super Bowl berth for the franchise since they lost four straight Super Bowls from 1990-93.

For most of the NFL season, Allen has been the favorite to win NFL MVP. He was named a finalist for MVP, along with Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Lions quarterback Jared Goff and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Per Ian Rapoport, Brady will remain with One Bills Drive after withdrawing his name from consideration to be the next head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
