LAS VEGAS — Cole Swider racked up a game-high 21 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 94-81 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Saturday at Thomas & Mack Center.
That's good news for Cole Swider and Darius Bazley, who are both suiting up for the Lakers this month. Swider continued his sharpshooting ways on Saturday night, while Bazley showed his all-around capabilities.
The Dallas Mavericks opened the Summer League against the Los Angeles Lakers, and Flagg announced himself as a first overall pick should.
"James has a fully guaranteed deal this year, but after that, everything is up in the air," Hollinger wrote. "If LeBron James isn't a Laker after this season, it's hard to see them keep riding with Bronny unless he's earned his stripes by then; next year's deal is only 50 percent guaranteed."
