The family of a man killed by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department for reportedly swinging a bat at officers said he was going through a mental health crisis. The shooting happened Friday at an apartment complex along Rawhide Street near Nellis Boulevard and Russell Road.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Las Vegas police said they are investigating two crashes on Eastern Avenue Monday. At 2:06 p.m., two vehicles crashed at East Patrick Lane and South Eastern Avenue. Police said one person was transported to Sunrise Hospital in an unknown condition.
