Two women were killed in a shooting Sunday at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, after a man shot a state trooper near the city’s airport, officials said.

Christine Combs, 34, and Beverly Gumm, 72, were killed Sunday after a gunman opened fire on churchgoers at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, the Lexington Police Department said. Both women were members of the church, while two male congregants were also wounded – one critically, according to cops.

The press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Watch live above. The Fayette County Coroner has identified the shooter as 47-year-old Guy House. We’re told he died from a gunshot wound.
