Netflix renewed "The Lincoln Lawyer" for a fourth season on Tuesday and confirmed it would adapt the Michael Connelly book "The Law of Innocence."

David E. Kelley's legal drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller will return for another round in the courts conducted from his trademark Lincoln car.

It's a relief that the show has returned since Season 3 ended on a major cliffhanger. Just as Mickey was about to head off for vacation, he was pulled over for having a missing license plate. The officer then found the body of one of his clients, Sam Scales ( Christopher Thornton ), in the trunk.
