Pat Kirkland will serve as the Mountaineers’ special teams coordinator and defensive assistant, according to a new release from WVU Athletics. Head coach Rich Rodriguez made the announcement Tuesday, marking the third time he has joined forces with Kirkland, who coached under Rodriguez at Jacksonville State and previously at West Virginia.
