Former White Sox closer Bobby Jenks, who died at 44 from Stage 4 stomach cancer, was remembered for his contributions to Chicago's 2005 World Series victory and MLB career on Monday night.
Bobby Jenks, the larger-than-life flame-throwing reliever who helped the White Sox close out their first World Series title in almost a century, has died at age 44, the team announced Saturday. Jenks died Friday in Portugal, where he had been undergoing treatment for adenocarcinoma, a form of stomach cancer.
